My name is Christopher Saputo. I graduated high school last year in 2006 from East Detroit High School in Eastpointe, Michigan and am attending Wayne State University to major in Music Technology and to earn my bachelors degree in Music. In addition, I play the alto saxophone and am currently in the University Concert Band. My current hobbies consist of playing the sax and piano, writing music, computers and technology, editing video, mixing audio, electrical work, and video games.
I have lived in the metro Detroit area all of my life and have always loved this city. On that note, I am glad to say at least that I am proud of the accomplishments the Detroit Tigers have made this past season and hope they continue to be a great team.
My family consists of my father and mother, three siblings (one brother and two sisters), two brother-in-laws, and my only grandfather. I cherish family and my Christian faith. These two values are very important to my character as a person. Once you have gotten to know me, I think that you would find that I am a caring person who values life to the fullest.
I think it would be fair of me to say that English or writing class has not always been my favorite subject, but I learn to do what is necessary to get the work done. All of my previous engagements with English have been required either by High School or the University. I do have a little apprehension towards not writing good papers, which I think is normal. I am a good writer, but like I have said, it’s not one of my favorite things to do. I look forward to exploring what this class has to offer me.

I'm a little scared about the quality of papers I'm going to produce too.
I love Detroit as well, probably my favorite city of all. Right now the Tigers are not our biggest problem it is the Lions, they should have made it to the superbowl when it was in Detroit.
That sounds like fun to have Music Technology as a major, how is it?
Since we can no longer write five paragraph essays, I feel a little nervous about our english class too. If you have done well in the past, I'm sure this english class won't be any different.
I am not a baseball fan at all, but im glad the Tiger's made it that far. The city was a lot of fun diruing that time.
Hey, I hate english too! Ha, I know that is not what you outright said but that is the feeling I got from it, and if it is any consolation, it is probably my least favorite subject.
I've never liked Detroit for some reason, but since it's starting to shape up, I'm learning to appreciate the city a little bit more. I'm sorry for saying this but Tigers had no chance against the Cards, I'm a St.Louis fan.
Definitely agree about the Tigers, it's time to show people what the D is all about. People have no idea how lucky we are to live in such an awesome city!
I'm not a huge fan of baseball either. But, I had a lot of respect for the Tigers this past season.
Thats great that you love your family and your religion.
I have no idea what music technology, sounds like fun though.
I love music too, I hope your doing good with it. Good luck with the music.
So your into music, have you always wanted to have a music career? It's cool you live East; my family lives near you in St. Clair Shores! I see you have a nice little background in music and that's always good. I hopeyou suceed in all your goals.
I think it's great that you're so close with your family. I have a great family life as well.
Music major, that's awesome. I am trying to teach myself to play guitar and I can only play When The Saints Go Marching In so far....
I love Detroit also but I sometimes get sick of the same scenery. I agree with Sami we have to do something about those Lions.
I'm also one of three siblings. I adore and charish all kinds of music. I wish you luck with the field of music.
I'm with you on the tigers. I just think some of our young pitchers got star-struck by the bright lights of the world series. But we should be able to win it all this year.
I have just about every class with you! LOL! It's great though because we share the same major! SO, you write music? What type of music do you write? What do you plan on doing in regards to your music tech degree? Are you going to have your own studio or are you going to incorporate your studio experiences and your writing skills? Maybe you'll do both! I'm glad to see that you're a Christian! Boy, I absolutely LOVE meeting other Christian people! It just makes me so happy! Let's pray that those Tigers can continue to do well! Lol!
I have to agree about the 2006 Tiger season. It was true magic. My husband and I considering season tickets for this season. :)
You have the right attitude coming into this class. I know that many people don't enjoy English, but being open to exploration is a good thing.
